Amidst speculation of a potential relocation, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has officially declared that the Indian Premier League (IPL) will remain firmly within the country's borders. Dismissing rumors of a shift to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) due to the overlap with the Lok Sabha Elections, BCCI Secretary Jay Shah firmly asserted that the entirety of the IPL will be held in India.

Earlier whispers of potential venue changes or a move abroad were emphatically denied by sources within the BCCI. Jay Shah's resolute statement has effectively put an end to any such speculations, reinforcing the commitment to host the IPL in India.

IPL Chairman Arun Dhumal echoed Shah's sentiments, emphasizing the logistical challenges but expressing confidence in the BCCI's ability to navigate them successfully. With the Election Commission of India unveiling the election dates spanning from April 19 to June 4, anticipation mounts for the BCCI to release the comprehensive IPL schedule.
